I was introduced to Reiki when my mother was in the process of healing her cancer. She used Reiki as a tool to assist with her condition. I remember feeling sensitive to the energy right away. I was intrigued by the colours that I saw and the sensations that I felt. Reiki also reminded me of the stories in the Bible of Jesus healing people with the palms of his hands. I really resonated with this and wanted to learn more, because for me it felt like magic!
